Baseball Recap: Pleasant Ridge Comes Up Short

Pleasant Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 10-6 to the Oskaloosa Bears. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Rams of the 5-4 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Coben Hoppe was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

Pleasant Ridge's record now sits at 9-8-1. As for Oskaloosa, the victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 12-5.

While Pleasant Ridge had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
