Highland took a seven-run loss the last time they faced off against Hobart, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Trojans came out on top in a nail-biter against the Brickies on Saturday, sneaking past 3-1. The victory was nothing new for the Trojans as they're now sitting on five straight.

The team relied heavily on Hailey Thomas, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

Highland's win bumped their record up to 14-7. As for Hobart, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-10.

Highland didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 7-1 loss against Andrean on the 12th. As for Hobart, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, an 11-1 defeat against Munster on the 12th.
