Football Recap: St. Stanislaus Takes a Loss + How To Watch

St. Stanislaus managed to slip by Mobile Christian the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Rock-a-Chaws were outmatched by the Leopards and fell 52-0. The Rock-a-Chaws just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Lew Monti threw for 35 yards on three of six attempts. Bennett LeMaire was his top target, picking up 35 receiving yards. On the ground, Drake Schmitt rushed for 33 yards.

A big part of Mobile Christian's win came down to the chemistry between ISRAEL BENARD and his top target AIDEN GASTON. BENARD threw for 162 yards and three touchdowns while completing 81.8% of his passes while GASTON picked up 88 receiving yards and a pair of TDs. The bulk of those receiving yards came from one huge play: a catch that gained an incredible 55 yards.

St. Stanislaus' loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Mobile Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 5-1.

St. Stanislaus wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 42-7 defeat against Stone on the 3rd. As for Mobile Christian, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on St. Michael Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on the 10th. The Leopards will need to watch out since the Cardinals have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
