It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Eagle Pass ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They skirted past the United South Panthers 55-53. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Eagles have posted since November 11, 2024.

Eagle Pass' victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 13-8. As for United South, their defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-8.

Eagle Pass (ranked 256th) will meet Del Rio (ranked 861st) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, United South will take on Laredo LBJ at 7:30 p.m. on Friday up 680 places (211 vs. 891).
