Libertyville put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. Their defense stepped up to hand the Carmel Corsairs a 1-0 shutout. The final result isn't all the surprising considering Libertyville's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 12th, while Carmel are ranked 241st).

Libertyville's one-goal win came courtesy of Shea Krakowski, who's now up to six this season.

Libertyville pushed their record up to 5-0 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Carmel, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4-1.
