Basketball Recap: Gateway Christian Takes a Loss

If Gateway Christian was riding high fresh off their 38-15 takedown of Escalante on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Gateway Christian Warriors fell 39-29 to the Quemado Eagles on Saturday.

Gateway Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Quemado, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.

Gateway Christian will be home for the holidays to greet Cloudcroft at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Quemado and Alamo Navajo will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Alamo Navajo has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
