Basketball Recap: Trinity Christian School of Griffin Picks Up Fourth Straight Win at Home

Trinity Christian School of Griffin had won three straight home games and Israel Lockridge did his part to make it four on Friday. The Trinity Christian School of Griffin LIONS walked away with a 77-70 win over the Praise Academy Lions thanks in part to Lockridge, who went 8 for 15 on his way to 20 points in addition to eight boards and six assists. Lockridge is also crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least five every time he's taken the court this season.

Trinity Christian School of Griffin's victory bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Praise Academy, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Trinity Christian School of Griffin LIONS take on the Lafayette Christian Cougars at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Praise Academy, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 57-43 win against Oakwood Christian on the 25th.
