Basketball Recap: Hillsborough Terriers vs. Robinson Knights
The Hillsborough Terriers waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with two straight wins but they left with three. They snuck past Robinson with a 76-70 win. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Robinson lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being LaJesse Harrold, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Harrold has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jaden Behel, who scored 16 points.
Hillsborough's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-13. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 77.7 points per game. As for Robinson, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-12.
Hillsborough will head out on the road to square off against the Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Countryside knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past five contests -- so hopefully the Terriers like a good challenge. As for Robinson, they will square off against the Falcons at TBD on Tuesday. Dunedin is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
