Volleyball Game Preview: Community Baptist Conquerors vs. Zion Academy Lions

After both having extra time off, the Community Baptist Conquerors and the Zion Academy Lions will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Community Baptist will be strutting in after a win while Zion Academy will be coming in after a defeat.

Last Monday, Community Baptist made easy work of Oak Ridge Military Academy and carried off a 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Conquerors.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Community Baptist took every set by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-8, 25-13.

Meanwhile, Zion Academy came up short against Faith Christian Academy on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-15, 25-23.

Community Baptist now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Zion Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.
