Roosevelt had won eight straight home games and Obie E Esparza did his part to make it nine on Wednesday. The Roosevelt Teddies walked away with an 81-68 victory over the North Community Polars thanks in part to E Esparza, who dropped a double-double with 33 points and ten rebounds. The matchup was his 11th in a row with at least 15 points.

Another player making a difference was Jason Wind, who went 6-for-8 to rack up 15 points and seven boards. Thanks to that strong game, he now owns an excellent 45.5% field goal percentage.

Roosevelt is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-9 record this season. With the defeat, North Community broke their seven-game winning streak and moved their record to 16-8.
