Basketball Recap: Central Lafourche Takes a Loss

Central Lafourche was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a 48-15 loss at the hands of the E.D. White Cardinals. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 268th, while the Cardinals are ranked 62nd).

Central Lafourche's defeat dropped their record down to 4-13. As for E.D. White, their victory bumped their record up to 17-4.

Central Lafourche wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 55-3 loss against Thibodaux on the 31st. As for E.D. White, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 54-7 win against A.J. Ellender on the 31st.
