Basketball Recap: Dugway Comes Up Short

Dugway lost against Escalante back in January of 2019 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Dugway Mustangs were dealt a 67-39 loss at the hands of the Escalante Moquis. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the defeat, Dugway had strong showings from Gary Williams Jr, who posted 13 points, and Tanner Thackeray, who earned 13 points.

Dugway's record now sits at 3-7. As for Escalante, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-7.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Telos the next time they take the court. Escalante will head out to face Telos at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Dugway will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
