Basketball Recap: Buckeye Local Comes Up Short

Buckeye Local was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost to the Toronto Red Knights at home by a 51-35 margin. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 808th, while the Red Knights are ranked 374th).

Buckeye Local's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Toronto, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-1.

Buckeye Local didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 44-38 win against Shadyside on the 14th. Toronto has also already played their next game, a 53-39 loss against Harrison Central on the 14th.
