Basketball Game Preview: Glascock County Panthers vs. John Hancock Academy Rebels

The Glascock County Panthers and the John Hancock Academy Rebels will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 58-24, which was the final score in Glascock County's tilt against Edmund Burke Academy on Friday. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Spartans recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

Meanwhile, John Hancock Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 59-39 to Fullington Academy. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Rebels have suffered against the Trojans since December 16, 2016.

Glascock County's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for John Hancock Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.
