Volleyball Recap: Hillsboro Takes a Loss

Hillsboro lost against Chillicothe back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Indians came up short against the Cavaliers, falling 3-0. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Hillsboro was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-18, 25-22.

Hillsboro's loss dropped their record down to 7-2. As for Chillicothe, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-2.

Hillsboro will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Washington at 6:15 p.m. on September 9. As for Chillicothe, they will head out to face off against Trimble at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
