Soccer Recap: Willamette Comes Up Short

Willamette came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 4-0 to the Sheldon Irish. Willamette have struggled against Sheldon recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Willamette's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7-1. As for Sheldon, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-1-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Willamette is set to challenge their familiar foe North Medford at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Sheldon will face off against rival Roseburg at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
