Shenandoah and Alexandria-Monroe are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2018, but likely not for long. The Raiders will welcome the Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Shenandoah is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.9 runs per game this season.
Shenandoah is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Knightstown just ended the team's eight-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 6-5.

Collin Osenbaugh put in work while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in six consecutive appearances. He was even better at the plate, getting on base in all five of his plate appearances with two doubles, one stolen base, and one run.
Osenbaugh wasn't the only one making solid contact as three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Drew Fredenburg, who went 3-for-4 with one run and one RBI. Aiden Coffey was another, going 2-for-3 with two RBI.
Meanwhile, Alexandria-Monroe had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out the Panthers 12-10. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.
Grayson Gaines tossed a big game, pitching five innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits.
On the hitting side, Owen May was incredible, going 1-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Trevor Martin, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.
Alexandria-Monroe lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've posted since back in April of 2024.
Alexandria-Monroe's victory bumped their record up to 14-9. As for Shenandoah, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-4.
Monday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Shenandoah has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .490. However, it's not like Alexandria-Monroe struggles in that department as they've averaged .438. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Shenandoah couldn't quite finish off Alexandria-Monroe in their previous matchup back in May of 2024 and fell 9-7. Will the Raiders have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the match for a full breakdown of the game, commentary, and other baseball content.
