Baseball Recap: West Sabine Comes Up Short

West Sabine suffered their closest loss since March 6th on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Groveton Indians by a score of 6-4. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-0 back in March.

West Sabine now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Groveton, they pushed their record up to 21-4 with the win, which was their eighth straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. West Sabine is set to square off against their familiar foe Hemphill at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Groveton will take on rival Corrigan-Camden at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
