Softball Recap: Brownsboro Takes a Loss

Brownsboro lost against Lindale back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Brownsboro Bears fell 12-7 to the Lindale Eagles. The Bears' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it five in a row.

Arabella Lowrance made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 2-for-3. She also brought in three RBI, marking her first of the season. Malerie Pyle was another key player, scoring two runs while going 1-for-4.

Brownsboro's loss dropped their record down to 2-7-2. As for Lindale, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-5-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brownsboro will challenge Kemp at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lindale, they will face off against Mabank at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lindale knows how to get runs on the board -- the team has finished with ten runs or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Mabank likes a good challenge.
