Basketball Recap: Forest Hill Takes a Loss

Forest Hill played a tough contest on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by Jensen Beach 58-26. Forest Hill was down 37-17 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Tavareon Newson was nothing short of spectacular for Jensen Beach: he shot 43% from the field to rack up 15 points along with five boards and five steals. Another player making a difference was Dre Lott, who went 5-for-7 on his way to 12 points.

Forest Hill now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Jensen Beach, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Forest Hill wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 57-54 win against Greenacres Christian on the 21st. As for Jensen Beach, they will take on Lake Mary in a tournament on Monday.
