Mount Pleasant took care of business in their home opener (barely) on Wednesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Albemarle Bulldogs, sneaking past 2-1. Mount Pleasant haven't had any issues with Albemarle recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mount Pleasant will host Salisbury at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Albemarle, they will look to take advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they take on South Davidson at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
