Football Recap: Chaparral Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Chaparral lost against Desert Mountain back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Firebirds fell 16-6 to the Wolves. The Firebirds have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ryan Trocki threw for 81 yards on 14 of 31 attempts. Cruz Kieth was his top target, picking up 83 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Chaparral's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Desert Mountain, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 7-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Chaparral is set to face off against their familiar foe Cactus Shadows at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Desert Mountain will square off against rival Horizon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. That contest will pit two of the most dominant backs against one another: Easton Conner and Bodie Zamorano.
