Soccer Recap: Konawaena Plays to a Tie

Konawaena has been on a difficult stretch since their win on December 5. They and the Kealakehe Waveriders finished up their game with a 1-1 draw on Thursday. The outcome might've been different if Essien Ramirez hadn't been hit with a yellow card, which no doubt limited his ability to make aggressive plays down the stretch.

Konawaena's draw gives them a new season record of 2-4-2. As for Kealakehe, they moved theirs to 6-1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Konawaena has already played their next matchup (against Hawaii Prep), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Kealakehe will take on Parker at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
