While Parkland's victory against Emmaus wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Trojans had just enough and edged out the Hornets 1-0 on Tuesday. The win was nothing new for the Trojans as they're now sitting on seven straight.

Not much got past Nathan Unger, who gave up just three hits to keep Emmaus off the board. Unger has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up a single earned run in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Parkland's victory was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Ben Weninger, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double.

Parkland's win was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-1. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Emmaus, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season.

Parkland will challenge Wilson at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Emmaus, they will square off against Hazleton Area at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Hornets' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Cougars have averaged an impressive 7.7 runs per game this season.
