Volleyball Recap: Jackson-Milton Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If Jackson-Milton was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Lowellville on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bluejays lost 3-0 to the Mineral Ridge Rams on Wednesday. The Bluejays have struggled against the Rams recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-12, 25-17.

Charlie Saunders paced Jackson-Milton's offense, picking up seven kills. Saunders got some help from Emma Johns and her 23 assists. Finally, Peyton Ford kept Jackson-Milton's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.

Jackson-Milton's loss dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Mineral Ridge, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 17-5.

Coming up, after both having extra time off, Jackson-Milton and Chalker will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mineral Ridge, they will welcome Mapleton at 7:00 p.m. on the 16th.
