Softball Recap: Racine Lutheran Extends Home Winning Streak to Four

Racine Lutheran took a ten-run loss the last time they faced off against Shoreland Lutheran, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Crusaders skirted past the Pacers 11-9. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Crusaders considering their one-run performance the matchup before.

Alexis Kiedrowski was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Emilie Lozano Weaver, who went 1-for-3 with two runs.

Racine Lutheran's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-3. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Shoreland Lutheran, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-8 record this season.
