Baseball Preview: Odem Owls vs. George West Longhorns
The Odem Owls are taking a road trip to square off against the George West Longhorns at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Odem is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games.
While Odem's victory against Mathis wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Owls won by a run and slipped past the Pirates 5-4. The game was the first time the Owls have beaten the Pirates on their field since April 23, 2021.

On the hitting side, Chaise Ford and Gio Beltran did most of the damage at the plate: Ford went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI, while Beltran scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.
