Basketball Game Preview: Christiansburg Blue Demons vs. Northside Vikings

Christiansburg is on a three-game streak of home losses, Northside a 16-game streak of away losses dating back to last season, but someone's luck will change on Wednesday. The Christiansburg Blue Demons will welcome the Northside Vikings at 7:30 p.m.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 67-25, which was the final score in Christiansburg's tilt against Salem on Saturday. The contest marked the Blue Demons' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Meanwhile, Northside hadn't done well against Franklin County recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Northside slipped by Franklin County 34-33.

Christiansburg's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Northside, their win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 3-12.
