Volleyball Recap: Ella Bear Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Eldorado

Poway picked up another tournament win on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Eldorado Firehawks.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Poway to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ella Bear, who had 13 assists and two aces. Jenna Adelman also deserves some recognition as she served her first aces of the season.

They weren't the only good server: Poway was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 19 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Poway is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-5 record this season. As for Eldorado, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coming up, Poway will be taking part in a tournament against Clovis West at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. Eldorado has already played their next matchup (against Cypress), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
