North Judson-San Pierre came into Thursday's game looking for another win against Kouts, but Avery Elijah wouldn't allow it. The Mustangs & Fillies took down the Bluejays 51-37 on Thursday thanks in part to Elijah, who went 10-for-16 en route to 20 points in addition to eight rebounds and seven steals. She has become a key player for Kouts: the team is undefeated when she posts at least 15 points, but 1-2 otherwise.

Bella Birky was another key player, putting up four points and seven boards. Birky is also crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season.

The win made it two in a row for Kouts and bumps their season record up to 4-2. As for North Judson-San Pierre, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Kouts has already played their next contest, a 58-14 victory against Portage on the 22nd. As for North Judson-San Pierre, they will face off against Knox at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bluejays are facing the Redskins at the right time seeing as the Redskins are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
