Volleyball Recap: Brandon Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Brandon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Corunna Cavaliers. The Blackhawks were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Cavaliers earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

Brandon actually scored more points across those five sets (111-102), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 27-25, 11-25, 23-25, 16-14.

Brandon's loss dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Corunna, their win bumped their record up to 10-12-4.

Brandon has already played their next contest (against Dexter), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Corunna, they will challenge Millington at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
