Basketball Recap: Richmond Drops Season-High Score on Pine Tree Academy

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Richmond). They walked away with a 70-57 victory over the Pine Tree Academy Breakers on Tuesday. The win was some much needed relief for the Bobcats as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Richmond now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Pine Tree Academy, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Richmond has already played their next game (against Rangeley Lakes), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Pine Tree Academy will venture away from home to face off against Buckfield at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Buckfield has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
