Recap: Mt. Zion Braves vs. Charleston Trojans

In what's become a running theme this season, the Mt. Zion Braves gave their fans yet another huge victory on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Charleston with a sharp 67-42 win. The win was nothing new for Mt. Zion as they're now sitting on eight straight.

When it comes to explaining why Charleston lost, one person who can't be blamed is Mikey Myers. Despite the final result, he scored 11 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Myers has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Adam Rudibaugh, who scored eight points.

Mt. Zion's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 26-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.8 points per game. As for Charleston, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 12 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-16 record this season.

Mt. Zion didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 68-38 victory vs. Mattoon on the 9th. Charleston has also already played their next match, a 57-49 loss against Marshall on the 9th.
