Baseball Recap: Flintridge Prep Comes Up Short

Flintridge Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 10-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Alhambra Moors. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wolves of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2023.

Flintridge Prep saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Will Grable, who scored a run while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. What's more, Grable posted two doubles, the most he's had since back in April of 2024. Nathan Sanok was another, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

Flintridge Prep's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Alhambra, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1-1.

Flintridge Prep didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 5-1 defeat against Arroyo on the 1st. As for Alhambra, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 15-1 win against Glendale on the 1st.
