Soccer Recap: JAG Takes a Loss

JAG lost against Montgomery Academy back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. JAG lost 12-0 to Montgomery Academy. While losing is never fun, JAG can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama soccer rankings (they are ranked 185th, while Montgomery Academy are ranked ninth).

JAG dropped their record down to 0-8 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Montgomery Academy, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-3-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. JAG will face off against Carver Montgomery at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. JAG will be up against Carver Montgomery's rather soft defense (which has allowed 7.25 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Montgomery Academy, they will challenge Prattville at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Prattville will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Montgomery Academy surely won't give up without a fight.
