Baseball Recap: Adrian Comes Up Short

Adrian extended their losing streak to six on Saturday, dropping them down to 13-16-1. They lost 7-0 to the Tecumseh Indians. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Indians this season, with their most recent defeat being a 1-0 loss on May 14th.

As for Tecumseh, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-8 record this season. The result was nothing new for Tecumseh, who have now won 16 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

For Tecumseh's part, the result came thanks to Rocco Williams's shutout, as he gave up just two hits. Williams has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Tecumseh saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kyle Barden, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one run. Sam Abbott was another, getting on base in two of his three plate appearances with one run and one RBI.

As of now, neither Adrian nor Tecumseh have any future games scheduled.
