Volleyball Recap: Western Reserve Academy Victorious

John Marshall typically has all the answers at home, but on Thursday Western Reserve Academy proved too difficult a challenge. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Lawyers.

Western Reserve Academy had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-12, 25-21, 26-24.

Western Reserve Academy's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for John Marshall, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four matches and leaves them with a 10-2 record.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Western Reserve Academy will square off against rival Roosevelt at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, John Marshall is set to face off against their familiar foe Avon at 6:00 p.m. on May 5.
