Basketball Recap: Nutley Comes Up Short

After some red-hot attacks on offense in their last four matches, Nutley finally came back down to earth on Friday. They fell 41-28 to the Glen Ridge Ridgers. The contest marked the Maroon Raiders' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Nutley fell to 5-1. As for Glen Ridge, they pushed their record up to 6-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Belleville the next time they take the court. Glen Ridge will host Belleville at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Nutley will host them at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
