Game recap: Batavia keeps rolling by besting Larkin

Batavia (Ill.) extended its winning streak to six games with a 48-0 victory over Larkin (Elgin, Ill.) on Saturday.The Bulldogs were up 35-0 at the half after taking the lead on a touchdown run by Adam Hunger in the first quarter.

Batavia expanded its lead to 42 points entering the fourth quarter. BHS scored once in the quarter on a Patrick Ward touchdown run.

Daniel Albrecht stood out for the Bulldogs in the win. The senior quarterback ran for one touchdown and kicked six extra points.

Batavia came in allowing an average of 21.0 points per game this season.



A 50-6 Batavia victory was the result when the squads faced off last season.

Batavia (6-0) will play a Upstate Eight - River game against North next week, while Larkin (2-4) will take on Bartlett in a non-conference game.
