Football Recap: St. Joseph Comes Up Short in High-Profile Game with Utah Military Academy - Camp Williams

St. Joseph faced Utah Military Academy - Camp Williams in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Jayhawks fell 33-29 to the Marauders. The Jayhawks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Marauders apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Even if they lost, St. Joseph's defensive line still kept up the pressure with four sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Jesse Benson and Ryker Christensen, who racked up all four sacks between them. St. Joseph is 2-1 when Christensen posts one or more sacks, but 1-2 otherwise.

David Shern produced another solid effort rushing for 78 yards and a pair of scores, while also throwing for 60 yards and one touchdown for Utah Military Academy - Camp Williams.
