Preview: Blessed Trinity Titans vs. Lassiter Trojans

After five games on the road, Blessed Trinity is heading back home. They will take on the Lassiter Trojans at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Blessed Trinity will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings (they are ranked 343rd, while Lassiter is ranked 42nd).

Blessed Trinity suffered their closest defeat since November 13, 2023 on Wednesday. They fell just short of Johns Creek by a score of 43-40.

Meanwhile, Lassiter scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 68-45 margin over Roswell. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Lassiter has posted since December 1, 2023.

Lassiter had a senior duo take command as Aidyn Davis scored 14 points along with six rebounds and Jaden Emmanuelli scored 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kyhir Torrence, who scored eight points.

Blessed Trinity's loss dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Lassiter, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.

Blessed Trinity might still be hurting after the 56-30 loss they got from Lassiter in their previous matchup back in December of 2023. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Lassiter's Cal Liston, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds. Now that Blessed Trinity knows the damage he can cause, will they be able to stop him this time? Check MaxPreps.com after the match to find out.
