Grandview came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 30.2 points), and they left with even more momentum. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 53-50 win over Kearney. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 45-40 back in January.

Grandview's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Michael Cruthird, who posted 15 points. Danny Richardson was another key player, putting up ten points.

Grandview pushed their record up to 15-10 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.0 points over those games. As for Kearney, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-7.

Looking ahead, Grandview will welcome Smithville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Kearney, they will venture away from home to face off against Winnetonka at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
