Arendell Parrott Academy has enjoyed the comforts of home their last six games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will face off against the Greenfield Knights at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
On Tuesday, Arendell Parrott Academy was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 48-47 to John Paul II Catholic.
Giorgio Parravicini put forth a good effort for the losing side as he scored 17 points. Chase Jones was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Meanwhile, after a string of seven wins, Greenfield's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 61-60 to Wayne Country Day. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Greenfield came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 29th, while Wayne Country Day is ranked 88th).
Arendell Parrott Academy's loss was their eighth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Greenfield, their loss dropped their record down to 19-6.
Arendell Parrott Academy was dealt a bruising 93-34 defeat at the hands of Greenfield in their previous meeting back in January of 2023. Can Arendell Parrott Academy avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
