Recap: Taconic Thunder vs. Franklin County Tech Eagles
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Wahconah Regional, the Taconic Thunder were happy to have found some success on Tuesday. They came out on top against Franklin County Tech by a score of 44-34.
Despite the loss, Franklin County Tech still got an impressive performance from Lea Chapman, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 21 rebounds. Chapman is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down nine or more in the last seven games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Hannah Gilbert, who scored 16 points along with two steals.
Taconic's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Franklin County Tech, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-3.
Taconic won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Hoosac Valley at 6:00 p.m. on February 14th. Franklin County Tech does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
