Baseball Game Preview: Flushing Red Devils vs. Lane Knights

The Flushing Red Devils will head out to take on the Lane Knights at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Flushing is headed out in good spirits considering the team just ended their winless streak on the road against Edison on Thursday. The Red Devils came out on top against Edison by a score of 8-4. The Red Devils' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, while Lane put up some runs on Wednesday, the same can't be said for Hillcrest. The Knights were the clear victors by a 7-0 margin over the Hawks. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Knights.

Lane picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 2-5. As for Flushing, they picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 3-5.

Flushing skirted past Lane 5-4 when the teams last played on April 4th. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Red Devils since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
