Recap: Dreher Blue Devils vs. Ridgeland-Hardeeville Jaguars        
        
		
            
 The Dreher Blue Devils posted their biggest  victory yet this season on Saturday. They blew past Ridgeland-Hardeeville 66-45. Given Dreher's advantage  in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings  (they are ranked 106th, while Ridgeland-Hardeeville is ranked 218th), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
 Dreher found their leader in underclassman  Jamere Singleton, who  dropped  a double-double on 20 points and 12  rebounds. Another player making a difference was  Austin Glasscho, who  scored 11 points along with seven  rebounds.
 When it comes to explaining why Ridgeland-Hardeeville lost, one person who can't be blamed is  Poncie Capers. Despite the final result, he  scored 15 points. Capers has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last four times he's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Kalen Riddles, who  scored three points.
 Dreher's victory bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Ridgeland-Hardeeville, they are  on a three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 3-8.
 Dreher will look to defend their home court  on Tuesday against Orangeburg-Wilkinson at 7:30  p.m. That game will pit two of the most dominant  players against one another:  Maurion Gordon and  Singleton. Ridgeland-Hardeeville will be staying on the road  on Tuesday to face off against Barnwell at 7:30  p.m.  on January 16th. Barnwell is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 52.1  points per game.
