Lyman Hall dropped their record down to 12-6 on Saturday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins on the road. They took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Foran Lions. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Lions this season, with their most recent defeat being a 2-1 loss on May 2nd.

As for Foran, the win keeps they at an undefeated 21-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 9.9 runs this season.

For Foran's part, Abigail Corris spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on two hits and racked up 12 Ks. Corris has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in 20 consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Foran got a massive performance out of Maddie Deldin, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two doubles. Another player making a difference was Norah Bove, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one triple, one stolen base, and one run.
