Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Westport). They blew past Atlantis 15-0 on Thursday. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by seven runs or more this season.

Westport is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.1 runs on average over those games. As for Atlantis, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-4.

Looking ahead, Westport will be playing at home against Winchester at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Red & Black will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Wildcats surely won't give up without a fight. As for Atlantis, they will welcome Cape Cod RVT at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
