Basketball Recap: Easley HomeSchool Takes a Loss

Easley HomeSchool was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against the Bluegrass United Bluehawks, falling 34-10.

Bluegrass United can attribute much of their success to Allie McGuire, who posted 12 points. That makes it four consecutive games in which McGuire has scored at least a third of Bluegrass United's points. Sophie Willen was another key player, putting up three points along with six boards and three steals.

Easley HomeSchool's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Bluegrass United, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-21 record this season.

Easley HomeSchool does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bluegrass United, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 49-23 loss against South Guilford HomeSchool on the 5th.
