Baseball Recap: Sheffield Takes a Loss

Sheffield fell victim to John Carroll Catholic and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 16-0 to the Cavaliers. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sheffield's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for John Carroll Catholic, the victory got them back to even at 10-10.

Coming up, Sheffield will head out to face off against Shades Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for John Carroll Catholic, they will face off against Westview at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Chargers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.67 runs per game on average), something the Cavaliers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
